Tragedy Strikes Awadh Academy: Balcony Collapse Injures 40 Children

At least 40 children were injured when a first-floor balcony collapsed at Awadh Academy School on Friday. The injured were rushed to Jahangirabad Primary Health Centre and then referred to the district hospital. Five students are in critical condition, and all children received treatment for various injuries.

At least 40 children were injured after a portion of the first-floor balcony at Awadh Academy School collapsed on Friday, according to police reports.

The children, some critically injured, are being treated at the district hospital after initial treatment at the Jahangirabad Primary Health Centre.

The incident occurred as a large number of students gathered on the balcony while heading to their morning assembly. Many students were pulled from the debris with injuries to their face, neck, hands, and legs.
