The BJP government has introduced new uniform colors for students in classes 9 and 10 attending government and aided schools. According to an official order, the new uniforms will feature a combination of light brown, chocolate, and clay-baked yellow hues.
Currently, the school uniforms have green and white colors that match the BJD party's color scheme. The change will affect only those students whose uniforms have not yet been stitched or distributed under the previous color code.
The modification comes under the 'Mukhyamantri Chhatra Chhatri Paridhan Yojana', as communicated in a letter addressed to the Director of Secondary Education by the School and Mass Education department.
