Education Expansion: New School Opens in Sunder Nagri

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi inaugurated a 131-room school in Sunder Nagri, Northeast Delhi, to address overcrowding in classrooms. The new facility will cater to 7,000 students in two shifts and features modern facilities such as labs and a lecture theatre, promising quality education.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday inaugurated a new 131-room school in Sunder Nagri, northeast Delhi, aimed at easing overcrowding in local classrooms.

Addressing attendees, Atishi recalled how in 2015, when Arvind Kejriwal became chief minister, many classrooms accommodated as many as 150 students.

The new school is expected to accommodate around 7,000 students from Sunder Nagri and nearby areas like Nand Nagri, Mandoli, and Harsh Vihar, offering facilities exceeding even some private institutions.
