Responding to media inquiries, external affairs ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized ongoing cooperation between the Indian and Nepalese authorities, with several measures implemented by the Odisha government and the KIIT institute.

The Odisha Police have made multiple arrests, including 11 individuals linked to an assault on students and the alleged abetment of the young woman's suicide, as tensions rise amidst calls for justice.
