NRAI Expands Global Reach with Landmark ISSF EST Course

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) executed its second, and largest, ISSF Electronic Scoring Target (EST) course at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, incorporating international participants. The initiative reflects NRAI's dedication to nurturing skilled technical personnel adept with EST systems for both national and international events.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) successfully conducted its second ISSF Electronic Scoring Target (EST) course at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges from March 5-9, marking a significant step in technical education under its Education Programme. The course attracted 32 participants, including international attendees from Nepal and Sri Lanka, highlighting its expanding global reach.

This session follows the initial success of the first ISSF EST course held in late February. These efforts aim to enhance the technical proficiency of officials handling EST systems, critical for both national and international shooting competitions. The course not only focuses on skill-building but also on expanding the technical capabilities of the sport across India and beyond.

Led by experts Jadranka Strukic, Khaled Aljerayed, and Pawankumar Singh, the program combined theoretical learning with practical exercises. Achieving an ISSF EST license is essential for officials aspiring to join the Rifle and Pistol Jury Members category or work within the Results, Timing & Scoring team at ISSF events. NRAI President Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo stressed the importance of developing a skilled workforce to ensure precision and fairness in competitions globally.
