Tragic Loss: Teachers Swept Away by Flash Flood
Two government teachers were tragically swept away by a flash flood in Ramban district, Jammu and Kashmir. Jagdev Singh and Sanjay Kumar were on a motorcycle when caught in the torrent near Nathatop. Their bodies were later found on Wednesday. They were returning from a training course amid heavy rain.

In a tragic incident, two government teachers lost their lives after being swept away by a flash flood in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, according to police reports on Wednesday.
The deceased, Jagdev Singh, aged 37, and Sanjay Kumar, 39, hailed from Ghordi village in the Ramnagar area of Udhampur. The pair were on a motorcycle when a surging mountain stream near Nathatop overpowered them on Tuesday.
Authorities found their bodies nearly 300 meters downstream from the suspected point of incident on Wednesday. The two had attended a training session at the District Institute of Education and Training in Kud earlier that day, leaving in the evening amidst worsening weather conditions. The discovery of their abandoned motorcycle prompted a search operation.
