Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka engaged in a crucial discussion with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday, primarily focusing on financial assistance for the India Integrated Residential Schools (YIIRS) initiative.
The meeting, held at the Finance Minister's office in the Parliament complex, was attended by Telangana Congress MPs Porika Balram Naik, Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, and Mallu Ravi. They collectively aimed to address the educational needs of students across diverse social strata, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, minorities, and the general community.
This innovative YIIRS project is envisioned as a system of high-quality, fully residential English-medium schools from Class 4 to Class 12, designed to benefit a wide range of social groups in Telangana.
