The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has raised objections over a question included in an undergraduate examination at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), arguing it reflects an ideological bias. The exam question, regarding atrocities against Muslim minorities in India, appeared in a BA (Hons) first-semester paper.

Sarthak Sharma, ABVP Delhi state secretary, claimed the question presented a skewed societal view. He stated that education should focus on fostering understanding and unity rather than division. The organization argued that the wording of the question could lead to ideological polarization.

The ABVP called for JMI to conduct an impartial academic review and improve scrutiny in framing exam questions. ABVP emphasized that focusing on a single minority group presents an incomplete social reality picture.
