Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde has issued a directive to state universities to adopt a 'strict improve or shut down' policy, emphasizing that there will be no compromise on educational quality.
During a Vice-Chancellors' Coordination Committee meeting, Bagde stressed the need for universities to improve NAAC accreditation rankings and expedite pending government approvals for recruitment and finances.
He further directed annual audits and convocations while advocating initiatives to promote Indian culture on campuses. Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa assured prompt faculty recruitment under NAAC guidelines.
