Gorakhpur's AI Awareness Triumph: Guinness World Record Achieved
Gorakhpur achieved a Guinness World Record for its 'AI for All Awareness Programme' by recording over 7.64 lakh registrations. In a groundbreaking achievement, Gorakhpur has entered the Guinness World Records for its 'AI for All Awareness Programme', which amassed over 7,64 lakh registrations online within a week. The initiative, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, exceeded its initial target of five lakh registrations well ahead of its April 9 deadline.
Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology (MPIT) in Gorakhpur, in collaboration with TCS Foundation and Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, launched the free AI awareness program. It focuses on educating the youth on AI and cybersecurity through basic and advanced certification courses. The program's success was celebrated with the formal presentation of the Guinness World Record certificate.
The certificate was presented by Rishi Nath, a Guinness World Records representative, to Chief Minister Adityanath and Tata Sons chairperson N Chandrasekaran at MPIT. The initiative, supported by leading institutions, achieved a total of 7,64,187 registrations, significantly surpassing the expected goal.
