A tragic incident unfolded in the Jatoli area after a Class 10 student committed suicide post CBSE results, officials reported. The student, identified as Kunal, 16, was allegedly distressed over not achieving the expected scores. Police are investigating the case further.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening in Baba Hardeva Colony under Pataudi police station limits. Despite performing well, Kunal was reportedly dissatisfied with his results. His family had urged him to consider retaking the exams, but he appeared to slip into depression.
After his results declaration, Kunal isolated himself on the terrace. Family members later found him dead upon forcibly entering the locked room. With no suicide note recovered, the railway-employee father had even arranged for a new laptop post-results announcement.
