Hansraj College, a part of Delhi University, has taken a step towards resolution by revoking the suspension of 25 students. This action follows a similar withdrawal of suspensions for students' union office bearers just a day earlier. However, one suspension stands as it is now under judicial review.

The initial suspensions, affecting 30 students, were enforced between April 20 and April 25. The decision cited reasons such as alleged violence and acts seen as defaming the college on social media. Now, in a new notice posted on Thursday, the administration declared that suspensions listed on April 22 will be lifted by May 15.

Further developments included the lifting of suspensions for seven students, effective May 10. This change was based on recommendations from the Students' Welfare and Discipline committee. Vinod Kumar Mayala, the convenor of the committee, confirmed the developments.
