Anshit Kumar has emerged as the top performer in the Himachal School Board Class 12 examinations for 2026, achieving an impressive 99.02% in the Arts stream. His standout performance contributed to the overall pass percentage climbing to 92.02%, noted as a significant improvement.

Girls outperformed boys in the exams, with 60 of the top 76 students being female. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Chairman, Rajesh Sharma, highlighted the achievements during the announcement of the results for Arts, Science, and Commerce streams.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Education Minister Rohit Thakur praised students' performances, noting the positive impact of educational reforms. The pass percentage has steadily increased from 2023, spotlighting the impressive success of girl students.
