Tragic Demise: The Stress on Para Teachers

In a tragic incident, a 35-year-old Shikshamitra, Yogendra Saroj, was found dead at his home in Uttar Pradesh, allegedly due to suicide. The local police confirmed the use of a country-made pistol.
Saroj, a resident of Bahlolpur village, recently returned home from his teaching duties at a local primary school. Later that evening, he shot himself, resulting in critical injuries. Despite being rushed to the medical college, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
The district magistrate ordered a detailed post-mortem, performed by a panel of doctors. Family members reported that Saroj had been experiencing severe mental stress, and though the exact reasons remain unclear, police are investigating the incident as a likely suicide stemming from psychological distress.
