NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak Sparks Nationwide Student Protests

Student groups, including NSUI, SFI, and ABVP, have launched protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Following findings of irregularities in the examination, the National Testing Agency has canceled the exam. The incident has sparked demands for accountability and a thorough investigation by central agencies.

Student organisations across the political spectrum intensified their protests on Tuesday against the alleged leaking of the NEET-UG 2026 exam paper. The Congress-backed NSUI, the Left-aligned SFI, and the RSS-affiliated ABVP have all called for action against the irregularities.

The NEET-UG exam, held on May 3, fell under scrutiny after allegations of a paper leak led to an investigation by Rajasthan's Special Operations Group (SOG). As a result, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has canceled the examination and pledged to retake it on announced dates.

The student unions are demanding accountability, with NSUI claiming the decision to cancel the exam is a triumph of student activism. Allegations of widespread corruption and calls for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation have also emerged in light of these developments.
