A 21-year-old NEET aspirant named Ritik Mishra tragically ended his life in his Gangotrinagar residence due to the cancellation of the NEET exam after a paper leak incident, according to family sources.
This incident marked Ritik’s third attempt to clear the NEET exam, and his family reported that he was confident this time around. The absence of a suicide note leaves Ritik’s family speculating that the exam leak and consequent cancellation severely impacted his mental health.
While police investigations continue, the NEET exam controversy has left more than 22 lakh aspirants in distress, as the examination was halted amidst allegations, with five arrests already made by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
