Nagaland and Karnataka Institute Unite to Empower Future Scholars

The Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) has partnered with a Karnataka-based technology institute to enhance academic cooperation and offer scholarships to Nagaland students. The collaboration, part of 'EduConnect', aims to provide skill development and scholarship opportunities under the Future Achievers Scholarship Programme for meritorious students.

The Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and a technology institute from Karnataka have teamed up to enhance educational prospects for students in Nagaland. This agreement was sealed during the 4th edition of 'EduConnect: Connecting Education to Opportunities', hosted at the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre in Dimapur.

Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the Atria–IT Scholarship Programme is set to be introduced alongside IDAN as part of the Future Achievers Scholarship Programme, aiming to reward students based on their academic excellence. Rigorous monitoring will follow the selected candidates to ensure ongoing high performance and attendance post-admission.

During the event, IDAN chairman Abu Metha emphasized the transformative power of education, urging students to harness new technologies and social media to advance their talents. Likewise, additional secretary (finance and IDAN) Vineet Kumar highlighted the importance of EduConnect in providing significant opportunities for students to guide their career pathways intelligently.
