In the wake of the NEET paper leak controversy, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to dismiss Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan or take personal responsibility. Gandhi alleges that a BJP-RSS nexus has wreaked havoc on India's education system, affecting the lives of 2.2 million NEET aspirants.
Gandhi claims that the exam questions were circulating on WhatsApp days before the test, and accuses Pradhan of ignoring a parliamentary committee's recommendations. The Congress leader argues that ideologically-driven appointments in educational institutions have eroded the system's core values.
Pradhan has announced a re-examination and future reforms to counter the alleged irregularities, emphasizing the government's commitment to student welfare. However, Gandhi insists that immediate action, including Pradhan’s removal, is necessary to restore trust in the examination process.
