Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the need for upgrading all Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Haryana with state-of-the-art equipment to meet modern industrial requirements. He stressed the importance of aligning ITI courses with industry needs to ensure students are job-ready upon completion.

While chairing a review meeting, Saini outlined plans to encourage self-employment and support young innovators towards start-ups. He also highlighted the necessity for regular industry-aligned training for ITI and polytechnic educators, and called for agreements with industries to link skill training directly with job opportunities.

Saini revealed that a survey is underway to identify modernization needs, with Rs 10 crore allocated for equipment upgrades in the first phase. He urged the signing of MoUs with industries and requested a quarterly update on industry collaborations and employment outcomes.
