Senior IAS officer Anurag Agarwal was appointed as chief electoral officer and principal secretary of the elections department of Haryana, officials said on Saturday.
He replaced IAS officer Rajeev Ranjan, an official spokesperson said.
Agarwal was currently holding the charge of managing director of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam and secretary of Haryana Power department and New and Renewable Energy department, he said.
