The game developed by Dice will be unveiled again at the Gamescom show in Cologne on August 21st.

On a cover of The House of the Rising Sun, the city of Rotterdam was bombed by the Luftwaffe in 1940 in this new trailer featuring images of the graphics engine of the game. A video that transforms the second war, the world is a real dizzying spectacle, and that would almost pass 'It Should Save Steven Spielberg's Private Ryan for a student film'.

But the war will also be played in the shops. Battlefield V, scheduled for October 19, will face tough competition, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on one side (October 12) and Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other (October 26). As a reminder, the franchise of DICE will return to the sources, 16 years after the release of Battlefield 1942, since this fifth installment of the saga will focus on the war 39-45.

The game will offer several modes. Starting with the single mode "Stories of War" (introduced in Battlefield 1), which will put us in the shoes of a young resistant. A choice that is far from unanimous on Twitter, the game is attacked from all sides since its announcement by gamers (men) who believe that a woman has nothing to do on a battlefield.

Battlefield V will take us to Africa or Scandinavia, and we will embody German soldiers. Battlefield V is also an opportunity to rediscover the cooperation mode (up to four players), which had disappeared since Battlefield 3. And as usual, an online multiplayer mode will obviously be there. The game will be available Oct. 19 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. And yes, as in all games now, there will be a Battle Royale mode.
