AMC’s Better Call Saul Season 6 will bring the television series to a close. The sixth and final season is under production in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The series, which is a spin-off prequel of Breaking Bad (crime drama), follows the story of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), an earnest lawyer and former con-man, who would transform into a greedy criminal defense attorney known as Saul Goodman.

In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, Bob Odenkirk said that Better Call Saul Season 6 will bring a new perspective to the Breaking Bad story. The actor believes the final season of Better Call Saul would change the way viewers have always perceived Breaking Bad.

“I’ve been told by [co-creator] Peter Gould that when Better Call Saul wraps up, everyone will see Breaking Bad in a different light. I don’t know what that means… But I think there are more amazing things to come that will comment on or inform the actual incidents of Breaking Bad in a surprising way,” said the actor.

The official Twitter account of Better Call Saul recently posted a photo showing Lalo Salamanca approaching Gus Fring and an associate. The caption reads, “Did you miss me?”

Tony Dalton is returning in Season 6 to reprise the role of Lalo, the acting head of the Salamanca family of Juárez Cartel enforcers. Better Call Saul Season 6 will continue from Tony Dalton’s character from the end of Season 5 story. He is back to take revenge.

The Season 5 of Better Call Saul ended with Nacho Varga planning to kill Lalo but he was able to escape without any injuries. He escaped through a secret tunnel underneath his bathtub and killed many people one by one, including the shooter who was hired to shoot him. But the shooter does not know who is behind the master plan.

While chatting with Entertainment Weekly, Tony Dalton said “I don't know what these guys are going to come up with, but I will tell you one thing, which is one of the great things about this show and the writers is that you don't know what's going to happen. A lot of these shows, you're like, "Oh, I know. This guy is going to die," or something like that. Here, they really throw curveballs at you. So I have no idea what to expect, but I know it will be great.”

In terms of cast, Better Call Saul Season 6 will see Bob Odenkirk (as Saul Goodman), Johnathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler), Michael Mando (Nacho Varga), Michael McKean (Chuck McGill), Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin), and Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring).

Better Call Saul Season 6 doesn't have an official release date. But it is likely to be out anytime in 2021. Stay tuned to Devdiscourse to get the latest updates on the television series.
