Viswa Sadasivan, a former Nominated Member of Parliament, has issued a call for the increased promotion of Indian cultural activities among Singapore's youth to preserve the country's linguistic and traditional heritage.

Sadasivan made this plea during the launch of a new Carnatic music album by Soundara Nayaki Vairavan, a naturalised Singaporean and prominent figure in Indian music and cultural activities, on Sunday.

Addressing the event, Sadasivan emphasized the critical role of organizers in promoting cultural and traditional values among younger generations. “Such programmes provide essential opportunities for maintaining cultural continuity within the community,” he stated.
