Gajendra Singh Shekhawat: Steering India's Cultural Renaissance

BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Tuesday assumed the role of Union Culture and Tourism Minister. BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat officially took charge as the Union Culture and Tourism Minister on Tuesday. In his first address, Shekhawat highlighted his ministry's role in advancing the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat'.

'As I step into this beautiful ministry, I am humbled and proud to have the opportunity to promote our rich cultural heritage,' Shekhawat stated on X. He emphasized the importance of India's growing soft power, manifested through its diverse art forms and cultural practices.

Shekhawat, who has previously served as the Union Jal Shakti Minister, reiterated the need to strengthen cultural ties both domestically and internationally. He later took charge of the Ministry of Tourism as part of his new responsibilities.
