The Toronto International Film Festival will host the world premiere of Angelina Jolie's war film 'Without Blood' and a Bruce Springsteen documentary, marking two high-profile debuts.

Other anticipated films include contemporary tragicomedy 'Hard Truths' by Mike Leigh and biopics featuring notable stars such as Alicia Vikander and Lupita Nyong'o. The Gala section at the Roy Thomson Hall promises exciting music specials, including a new biopic on Andrea Bocelli and a road diary featuring Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, directed by Thom Zimny.

The festival will also present North American debuts like Paul Schrader's 'Oh, Canada' and David Cronenberg's 'The Shrouds.' International premieres include Jacques Audiard's 'Emilia Perez' and Malcolm Washington's 'The Piano Lesson.' The event kicks off with Ben Stiller's comedy 'Nutcrackers' and will close with Rebel Wilson's musical 'The Deb,' continuing TIFF's tradition of mainstream crowd-pleasers.
