Avika Gor, currently promoting 'Bloody Ishq,' recently spoke about her on-set experiences. In an exclusive interview, Gor emphasized the unforgettable underwater scenes, describing them as both challenging and exhilarating.
'The underwater sequences were the most memorable for me. I've never done anything like that before. Whether it's 1920 or Mansion 24, I've portrayed fear through my expressions, but this time, it involved a lot of underwater work. I was very excited because I enjoy doing stunts. It was new, different, and something I'll remember for the rest of my life,' Gor shared. She also expressed her enthusiasm about collaborating with filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt.
'I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Bhatt and Mr. Vikram. For an actor, it's a bucket-list moment and it's happened twice for me. When filmmakers like Mahesh ji and Vikram sir approach you for a film that revolves around you, there's no reason to hesitate. The writing is wonderful, and with Vikram sir directing, it's even more special.'
Gor elaborated on her rapport with Vikram Bhatt on set. 'Amazing. I spent so much time with Vikram sir on set that I hardly used my vanity. I'd sit with my phone, taking notes on everything he said. His words might be useful someday. He made my job easier with his clear vision and direction. Working with him felt like family,' the 'Balika Vadhu' actress remarked.
The trailer of 'Bloody Ishq,' featuring Avika Gor and Vardhan Puri, was recently unveiled. Directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, it begins with a woman who loses her memory after an accident. As she arrives on an island with her husband, unexpected situations unfold in their home.
The trailer evokes memories of Bhatt's previous hit, 'Raaz' (2002), with its eerie scenes and ghostly atmosphere. The film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 26.
