'Bad Newz,' featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has crossed the Rs 70 crore mark globally, amassing a total of Rs 78.30 crore within a week of its release.
The film, directed by Anand Tiwari and released on July 19, tells the story of Saloni Bagga, played by Dimri, who has a rare medical condition known as heteropaternal superfecundation. The plot delves into the competition between Kaushal's and Virk's characters, Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Singh, as they vie to prove their worth as fathers and win Bagga's affection.
Produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner, the film also features notable performances by Neha Dhupia.
