Refreshing Welcome: Mantralaya Dispatch Department to Serve Kokum Juice

In a move to offer hospitality, visitors to the dispatch department at Mumbai's Mantralaya, the Secretariat of Maharashtra, will now be served kokum juice, according to a government resolution.

The Mantralaya canteen will provide the juice, with costs covered by the General Administration Department. The initiative aims to better manage the influx of visitors, including officials from diverse parts of the state, who come to submit various documents.

Kokum, a fruit native to the Konkan region of southern Maharashtra, is praised for its medicinal properties, particularly aiding digestion.
