India House: Showcasing Soft Power at the 2036 Olympics

Olympic bronze medalist Sarabjot Singh was warmly received at India House, a cultural pavilion set up by the Reliance Foundation in Paris. The pavilion not only serves delectable Indian cuisines but also offers yoga sessions and cultural workshops. It aims to showcase India's rich culture ahead of the 2036 Olympic Games.

Olympic bronze medal-winning shooter Sarabjot Singh received a warm welcome upon his arrival at India House, a cultural pavilion in Paris. Set up by the Reliance Foundation, the pavilion aims to display India's soft power to the world, especially with aspirations of hosting the 2036 Olympic Games.

Singh, along with teammate Manu Bhaker, secured a second medal for India by defeating South Korea in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event. Following his victory, Singh was treated to an array of Indian dishes, much to the athletes' delight, who are fatigued by the limited food options at the Olympic village.

Additionally, India House offers a variety of cultural experiences, including yoga sessions, Bollywood dance classes, and workshops on traditional Indian arts. Nita Ambani, chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, emphasized that the venue serves to honor athletes, celebrate victories, and introduce the global community to India's rich heritage.
