Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday inspected the flood-hit areas of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, listening to grievances from affected residents.
Touring Sangavi in Pimpri Chinchwad, Patil Estate in Shivajinagar, and Ekta Nagar on Sinhgad Road in Pune, Shinde assured citizens of both immediate aid and long-term solutions.
Shinde emphasized the review of the blue flood line and proper flood management while urging cooperation with the local administration. He also inspected the Khadakwasla dam's water release and mandated strict actions against illegal dumping in the Mutha river.
