BTS member Suga has issued a public apology after being caught driving an electric kickboard under the influence of alcohol.
The 31-year-old rapper, currently serving as a social service agent as part of his mandatory military duty, was found by police after falling from the scooter. His blood alcohol level was high enough to warrant the revocation of his license and a fine.
Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, posted a heartfelt apology on the fan forum Weverse. BigHit Music, BTS's management agency, also issued a statement apologizing for the incident.
