Maharashtra Launches 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Initiative to Boost Patriotism

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is set to inaugurate the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign at a special event on Friday at August Kranti Maidan. The launch will also feature deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, as announced by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
The civic body revealed that the campaign aims to motivate citizens to display the national flag at their residences, running from August 9 to 15 in line with Union government directives.
Multiple activities, such as flag marches, rallies, and melas, are planned in every civic ward. Residents are encouraged to actively participate, hoist the national flag at their homes, upload selfies with the flag on an official website, and showcase their patriotism.
