Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Friday that India could ascend to the position of the world’s third-largest superpower in the next two years if its people prioritize national interests over caste or religion.

Addressing the 'Veeron Ko Naman' event, marking the centenary of the Kakori train action, Adityanath stressed the importance of nation-building through the unified efforts of its citizens. He highlighted the sacrifices of revolutionaries like Ram Prasad ‘Bismil’ and Ashfaqulla Khan and underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi's developmental strides in the last decade.

The Chief Minister also called for moving forward with values like 'Vocal for Local' to establish an egalitarian society. The Kakori train action is a historical event where Indian freedom fighters looted the British treasury to fund the revolution in 1925. Adityanath confirmed that year-long celebrations and activities would honor this pivotal moment in India's freedom movement.
