The incident took place in Dolikhar Mohalla as the family slept, resulting in the fatalities of Zakir Khan and his son Rashid Khan. The injured are receiving treatment at a local hospital, according to Dr. Ramkesh Meena, the Principal Medical Officer of Karauli district hospital.

Heavy rainfall was recorded across parts of Rajasthan, with Karauli experiencing the highest at 380 mm. Efforts are ongoing to provide support to affected families.
