Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed his next project as 'King,' an action film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The actor discussed this during the Locarno Film Festival, stating that he needs to lose weight for the role. The film will also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan confirmed his next film, titled 'King,' will be an action-packed thriller under the direction of Sujoy Ghosh. The actor revealed the details during a Q&A session at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

Khan noted that preparing for the role requires him to lose weight and be in top physical condition to perform stunts. 'It's painful and hurtful. I have a bag full of icing machines,' Khan said, describing the aftermath of action scenes.

Interestingly, 'King' will also star his daughter, Suhana Khan. The film is set for release in 2025, and it mirrors Khan's recent focus on more age-appropriate roles. The announcement comes after his successful 2023 comeback with 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki.'
