Delhi LG Leads 'Tiranga Yatra' with NDMC Students: Honoring Freedom and Patriotism

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena on Tuesday led the 'Tiranga Yatra' with 5,000 students from New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) schools.

Saxena honored Aman Sehrawat, the Paris Olympic 2024 bronze medalist in wrestling, and appointed him as the NDMC Brand Ambassador. According to an official statement, the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign aims to foster national unity and instill patriotism.

'The freedom we received from British rule came at a huge cost. It is our duty to recall the sacrifices of our freedom fighters,' said Saxena. The annual yatra, held ahead of Independence Day, saw massive participation from students, teachers, parents, and NDMC officials.
