Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster 'Stree' premiered on August 15, coinciding with Independence Day. Maddock Films, the production company, announced the impressive numbers via a shared poster, thanking audiences for their support.

Co-starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, 'Stree' was both a commercial and critical success. The newly released sequel has already outperformed competitors like Akshay Kumar’s 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham’s 'Vedaa'. 'Khel Khel Mein', directed by Mudassar Aziz, earned Rs 6.5 crore gross while 'Vedaa', helmed by Nikhil Advani, collected Rs 6.75 crore according to Zee Studios.
