Strengthening Russo-Indian Ties: Diplomatic Talks Boost Cooperation

Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov met with Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in various sectors. The discussions included participation in international forums and future plans for deepening partnerships in trade, energy, tourism, and environmental protection.

Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov met with Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation on international platforms.

“Moscow and New Delhi cooperate equally in trade, energy, science, investment, tourism, and environmental protection. Importantly, cooperation within integration associations is growing, crucial for establishing a sovereign multipolar world,” Kobyakov told TV BRICS channel.

Kumar highlighted successes in cooperation between central banks and emphasized growing relations through BRICS. They discussed India’s participation in the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan and the BRICS Business Forum in Moscow, scheduled for October 2024. Kumar also mentioned India’s plans to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum in September in Vladivostok, featuring a Russia-India business dialogue.

Additional discussions included partnership in the environmental sector, with plans for an Indian pavilion at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and interest in the Russian Tourism Forum “Let’s Travel!” to deepen tourism and cultural connections.
