Chief Minister's Inauguration of Key Development Projects in Solan

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid foundation stones for eight development projects valued at over Rs 23 crore in Solan district. The projects include a new school building, administrative blocks, and initiatives for landslide mitigation, flood management, and parking infrastructure.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday inaugurated several development projects in Solan district, officials said. The projects, valued at over Rs 23 crore, aim to enhance local infrastructure and community facilities.

During his visit, Sukhu opened a newly constructed building at a government senior secondary school costing Rs 3.19 crore. Additionally, he inaugurated an administrative block of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) built for Rs 3.30 crore, and a Rs 7.51-crore building for the Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank.

The chief minister also laid foundation stones for landslide mitigation and flood management projects in Sadhupul and Shamti, costing Rs 75 lakh and Rs 3 crore respectively. Furthermore, a new Rs 2.67-crore parking area at the Solan Municipal Corporation premises was also initiated.
