Sharad Pawar Condemns Kindergarten Abuse Incident, Highlights Public Anger

NCP chief Sharad Pawar condemned the sexual abuse of two kindergarten girls in a Badlapur school, citing it as unfortunate. He remarked that the subsequent protests showed public agitation due to the government's inadequate response. Pawar also noted that Maharashtra voters are poised for change in upcoming elections, reflecting a strong opposition stance.

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday condemned the incident of sexual abuse of two kindergarten girls at a school in Badlapur, describing it as an unfortunate event. He emphasized that the protests following the incident demonstrated public anger.

Speaking at the party office, Pawar highlighted that thousands of people took to the streets and halted railway services on Tuesday, underscoring the unrest among citizens over the government's lackluster response to the crime.

Pawar further noted that during the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Maharashtra initiated a silent revolution by granting the Opposition's MVA alliance 31 out of 48 seats, and they are determined to bring change in the upcoming assembly elections as well.
