Veteran Journalist Umesh Upadhyay Tragically Passes Away

Veteran journalist Umesh Upadhyay, 64, tragically died after falling from the fourth floor of his home in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre but later succumbed to his injuries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences.

Veteran journalist Umesh Upadhyay died on Sunday after falling from the fourth floor of his house during a renovation inspection in Vasant Kunj, Delhi.

Upadhyay, 64, who was the elder brother of former Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay, sustained serious head injuries after accidentally falling from the fourth floor to the second floor.

Despite being rushed to the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, he later succumbed to his injuries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent figures expressed their condolences.
