Foundation Laid for Shri Lord Venkateshwara Temple in Navi Mumbai
A foundation stone was laid for the Shri Lord Venkateshwara Temple at Ulwe in Navi Mumbai. Present were senior TTD officials and industrialist Gautam Singhania. The temple, being built by the Raymond Group, is a replica of the Tirupati Temple and holds cultural and spiritual significance.

A foundation stone was laid on Wednesday for a mega temple dedicated to Shri Lord Venkateshwara in Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. The event saw the presence of senior Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials and industrialist Gautam Singhania.
IAS officer J Shyamala Rao, Executive Officer of TTD, and Venkaiah Choudhary, Additional Executive Officer of the trust, were also present. The grand shrine, replicating the renowned Balaji Temple at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, had its foundation stone laid on June 7, 2023, by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.
The Raymond Group is constructing the temple on a 10-acre plot allocated by the state government. Chairman and MD Gautam Singhania emphasized the project's cultural and spiritual importance, committing to its timely completion to serve as a revered worship center. The temple location is near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.
