Inaugural Regional Hindi Conference Set to Begin in Singapore

The Indian High Commission, in collaboration with the Centre for Language Studies at the National University of Singapore, is set to host the inaugural Regional Hindi Conference later this week, an official announced on Tuesday.
Focusing on the theme 'Hindi in Southeast Asia: Innovative Directions of Development,' the conference will convene academics, researchers, and professionals from the region and beyond, said Dr. Sandhya Singh of NUS.
Scheduled from September 13-15, the event will delve into the future of Hindi as a second, foreign, and heritage language, alongside discussions about Hindi literature within the diaspora.
