In our previous news on ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’, we notified you how the Japanese anime fantasy martial arts movie earned a gargantuan amount of 2 billion yen (approx. USD 18.1 million) after 11 days at the box office in Japan.

‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ also marked a record of bagging in 1,050,000,000 yen (around USD 9.26 million) in its first three days of run. With the movie set to arrive in the United States theatres on January 16, a batch of new images has been revealed from the house of Funimation, which claim that one of the protagonists Goku is back to training hard so that he can confront the most powerful enemies the universes have to offer. Whereas, the other protagonist, Vegeta is keeping up right beside him.

‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ is now considered the biggest movie of the franchise because it has brought Gogeta and Broly into the series cannon added with lots of things that fans never imagined to experience. Thanks to the director, Tatsuya Nagamine who recently took to Twitter to let the anime enthusiasts know on his future with the franchise.

Another thanks to @AnimeAjay who has translated his tweet into English. He says (translating Tatsuya Nagamine’s tweet that the year 2018 was all about being a Dragon Baller, whereas he wants to try to take things a tad slower. Ajay also expressed his opinion saying that he may not work in the next Dragon Ball anime project. However, if the new project is made on a new anime series, then he could return to the franchise, however, his statement doesn’t confirm or de-confirm his presence in the next project.

The screening of ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ is still going on in Japan and fans in the US are looking forward to its release. While it is still in run, the screen-player and writer Akira Toriyama already cited at Jump Festa 2019 (took place between December 22 and 23, 2018) that he has commenced working on the next work. But since the project is completely kept under wrap, no one knows if it (the next project) is going to be an anime series or another movie.
