Bollywood Star Malaika Arora's Stepfather Found Dead in Mumbai

Malaika Arora's stepfather, Anil Mehta, allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Bandra, Mumbai. Despite attempts to save him, he was declared dead on arrival at a hospital. The exact reason behind the suicide remains unclear, and an investigation is underway.

In a tragic turn of events, Bollywood actor Malaika Arora's stepfather, Anil Mehta, was found dead in Mumbai on Wednesday morning. According to police officials, Mehta, aged 62, allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of 'Ayesha Manor' in Bandra's upscale Almeida Park area around 9 am.

Despite immediate intervention from a Bandra police team, Mehta was declared dead before arrival at the hospital. Police revealed that Mehta had called Malaika and her sister Amrita, expressing that he was 'sick and tired' before the incident.

Authorities are treating the incident as a suicide but are investigating from all angles. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 9), Raj Tilak Roushan, stated that forensic experts and police are collaborating on the probe. Meanwhile, family and industry colleagues, including Arbaaz Khan and Arjun Kapoor, visited the residence.
