Germany says IEA has not requested oil reserve draw-down

​Germany's economy ‌ministry said on ​Thursday it had ‌not been asked by the International Energy Agency ‌to release parts ‌of the nation's strategic oil reserve.

The ministry was ⁠asked ​to ⁠comment on a Reuters ⁠report saying the Trump ​administration has told Germany ⁠and France to draw down ⁠emergency ​diesel inventories or face a ⁠potential US diesel export ban.
