In a nationwide initiative commemorating 10 years of the Swachh Bharat Mission, Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya led a coastal and beach cleanliness drive from Porbandar, Gujarat, on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

The event, part of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign, saw over 1,00,000 MY Bharat youth volunteers clean beaches across 1,000 locations, focusing on eliminating single-use plastics and other waste from India's coastlines.

Mandaviya highlighted the collective power of youth in environmental stewardship, stating that the drive is a tribute to both Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a clean India and Mahatma Gandhi's ideals of environmental responsibility.
