The ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh has welcomed this move. Party spokesperson Pattabhiram Kommareddy highlighted the importance of uncovering the truth and holding accountable those responsible for tampering with the sentiments of millions of devotees worldwide.

This development comes amid a backdrop of controversy ignited by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's accusations against the previous government for using substandard ingredients. The investigation will be supervised by the CBI Director, ensuring its integrity and transparency.
