The fourth edition of the FolkTea Festival, intertwining Assam's tea heritage with vibrant folk traditions, is set to commence on November 29 at Pabhoi in the Biswanath Chariali district. According to festival organizers, the three-day event will feature a tea conclave, traditional dramas, dances, and folk performances.

"The FolkTea Festival is an initiative to promote the tea industry, collaboration, and innovation by showcasing the deep-rooted connections between tea, culture, and nature," said Mrinal Talukdar, the festival organizer. It provides an experience that merges tradition with adventure.

Key events include a B2B tea conclave for industry discussions, a car rally to Arunachal Pradesh, a tea ceremony spotlighting Assam's tea-making rituals, and musical performances. The festival, organized by the Nanda Talukdar Foundation, concludes on December 1, highlighting Assam's tea culture and diverse folk traditions.
