Queen Camilla is set to make a cautious return to her public responsibilities after recovering from a chest infection that kept her from attending recent memorial events.
On Tuesday, Camilla, 77, will be present at a reception for the finalists of the esteemed Booker Prize in fiction writing. However, she plans to minimize her interaction with the attendees. She is also slated to appear at a television and film industry gathering, though she will cut her participation short.
Medical advice has led her to forgo attending the premiere of 'Gladiator II.' Camilla's absence was also noted at a significant 'Festival of Remembrance' and the Remembrance Sunday ceremony, events held annually to honor those who sacrificed their lives in service to Britain.
